Ingredienti:
200g di farina 00
40g di burro
2 uova
1 cucchiaio di zucchero
1 limone
olio per friggere
zucchero a velo
sale
Impastate rapidamente su di un piano di lavoro la farina, le uova, il burro, lo zucchero, una presa di sale e la scorza grattugiata del limone.
Impastate fino ad ottenere un impasto liscio, omogeneo e non appicicoso e dategli la forma di una palla.
Lasciate riposare la pasta per 30 minuti coperta da pellicola in un luogo fresco.
Riprendete l’impasto e tiratelo col mattarello fino ad ottenere una sfoglia sottile di circa 3/4mm. Tagliatela a striscioline di circa 3/4 cm di larghezza con l’aiuto di una rotella dentellata.
Portate a temperatura abbondante olio di arachide in un tegame e friggete le frappe per alcuni minuti fino a quando non diventeranno belle dorate. Scolatele su carta assorbente, quindi una volta asciutte dall’olio in eccesso, spolveratele con zucchero a velo.
Chi preferisce evitare la frittura può cuocere le frappe al forno adagiandole su una teglia ricoperta di carta da forno precedentemente bagnata e strizzata. Cuocete a 200°C per circa 10 minuti o comunque fino a che la superficie non risulterà colorita.
